Minor Crest of Aulis - 20% chance to raise Mt by 5 when using weapons. Relatively unknown: came from an ancestor who traveled briefly to Fódlan and helped during the War of Heroes. This ancestor ended up at the brink of death after taking a blow for a Nabatean, who shared their blood with them. They later returned to Albinea, not completely aware of what they now bore.

Heir apparent to the County of Mateus (located just south of the Viscounty of Kleiman, formerly known as Duscur), Thyra carries a dignified air about her. Yet only a short conversation is enough to make it clear social class and servitude aren't the only things on her mind. As much as she will follow Faerghus traditions to the bitter end, she's going to have fun while she does it.

Those who know the faces of their lords and ladies well may recognize Thyra looks nothing like Count Mateus or his wife, or even any of their more distant relatives. Indeed, when asked she openly admits she was adopted years ago - but seeing as they are well beyond childbearing years and she has studied her fair share of leadership and politics, there is no need to question legitimacy of inheritance here.

At 152cm (5’0”), she is small, though particularly muscular. Relatively pear-shaped. She has high cheekbones, but her chubby cheeks and short stature (even with her excellent posture) generally cause others to mistake her for about sixteen. Thick, dark tresses of hair fall a few inches below her shoulders, though it is usually pulled up in a sideways ponytail. Pink eyes. There are two small, nigh invisible scar patches hidden by her bangs on the right side of her forehead that push her hairline back a bit. Only the right half of her face freckles when she spends too much time in the sun. She wears the standard Officers’ Academy uniform without the jacket, although she ripped the tassels off her skirt, and replaced the socks with dark blue thigh-highs. Her sleeves are rolled just above her elbows, j crew style.

On the surface, Thyra is an outgoing, confident student who can be silly and often flirtatious. She’s easygoing with others; she doesn’t like mincing words but understands when and how to convey information gently. She always works hard to meet expectations - it’s not as natural as she pretends it is. She takes criticism to heart, perhaps a bit too harshly. Secretly, she fears having no worth to anyone beyond being a warm body or a Crest.

Defaults to Azure Moon, but can be recruited into any route. When interacting with others, assume she is in the same route as them unless otherwise stated or planned.

Regardless of route, once the war begins, she returns to Faerghus to help with the efforts there. Count Kolbrun Mateus passes away during a battle in the Garland Moon (about three months in). With Lady Jorunn's ill state from age and Lord Parish's insistence on refusing the title, Thyra's ascension to Countess is entirely undisputed. She spearheads the county's war and diplomacy efforts in a direction dependent on route while also going through old papers. Near the end of 1181, she stumbles upon a great deal of letters that reveal her parentage and the real history behind Lord Parish's engagement. Throughout 1182, she spends most of her time learning the language and customs of Albinea and getting to know her uncle in truth. In 1183, when Mateus is able to stand on its own, she departs for her homeland.

Albinea is not welcoming, to say the least. She is watched and followed the entire span of the year as she tries to uncover more secrets of her past and perhaps gain some resources. She is unable to garner little more than sympathy and a promise that she will always have a place with the Purple Party should she need it. But in her last few days before she returns, her maternal uncle contacts her and begs her to take him to Fódlan in exchange for the family papers.

While it's nice to learn about her family, Thyra is ultimately disappointed in herself for not living up to her expectations, for having done absolutely nothing for Fódlan's war in the past year, and for putting so many in danger for, well, nothing.

Overall, Thyra becomes much more serious and quieter post-skip. Still, around her friends, she remains as lighthearted as ever. Is it a façade to convince them not to worry? Or is she truly happier with them?

She cuts her hair to a chin-length bob, although she leaves the front side pieces asymmetrical with the left trimmed to just below her ear. Her bangs are much more unkempt than in her school days, though they retain the lackadaisical swoop. She dons a pink A-line dress reminiscent of Albinea's fashion, long dark gloves, dark riding breeches, and black armored boots. She also wears a black spaulder, black gauntlets, and a black breastplate.
